How to update branding for the Rapid Terminal app

The Rapid Terminal app for iPad and Android devices allows you to add your company's custom branding. This ensures your sign-in screens seamlessly match your business look across all your locations. You can customise the following:
  1. Background
  2. Primary button and icon colour
  3. Welcome message on the homepage
  4. Idle video

Updating the background

For a custom background, you must upload a .PNG, .JPG, or .JPEG file with a required size of 1150 x 1080px.
  1. Go to Access > Site Info.
  2. Select your site.
  3. Go to the Rapid GO tab.
  4. Select the sub-location your iPad / Android device is assigned to using the Location dropdown:



  5. Scroll down to the Rapid Access Tablet Branding and Personalisation section.
  6. Press the Select Files button to the right of the Background Image option
  7. Upload a valid file.
  8. Press the Update button:

Updating the app's primary button and icon colours

This option allows you to change the colour theme of the primary button and icons throughout the sign-out process.
  1. Go to Access > Site Info.
  2. Select your site.
  3. Go to the Rapid GO tab.
  4. Select the sub-location your iPad / Android device is assigned to using the Location dropdown:



  5. Scroll down to the Rapid Access Tablet Branding and Personalisation section.
  6. Press the rectangle button to the right of the Primary Buttons and Icons Colour option.
  7. Select a colour within the popup.
  8. Press the Update button:

Adding a welcome message on the homepage

A welcome message can be added to appear on the homepage of the Rapid Terminal app.
  1. Go to Access > Site Info.
  2. Select your site.
  3. Go to the Rapid GO tab.
  4. Select the sub-location your iPad / Android device is assigned to using the Location dropdown:



  5. Scroll down to the Rapid Access Tablet Branding and Personalisation section.
  6. Edit the text box to the right of the Kiosk Notice for Homepage option.
  7. Press the Update button:

Adding an idle video

The Rapid Terminal app can be configured to show a video after a certain period of inactivity. Only .MP4 files can be used as an idle video.
  1. Go to Access > Settings.
  2. Enter the Advertising Videos section.
  3. Press the Select files... button in the top left.
  4. Select a file from your device to upload:



  5. Go to Access > Site Info.
  6. Select your site.
  7. Go to the Rapid GO tab.
  8. Select the sub-location your iPad / Android device is assigned to using the Location dropdown:



  9. Scroll down to the Rapid Access Tablet Branding and Personalisation section.
  10. Select the uploaded video from the Advertising Video dropdown.
  11. Set an idle time for the video to appear using the Show Video After Inactive For dropdown.
  12. Press the Update button:
