How to trigger an evacuation via the Rapid Admin app (Android)
Before you start:
Ensure you have administrator permissions to view and edit evacuation lists within Rapid Access.
Ensure you have the latest version of the Rapid Admin app installed on your Android device.
Triggering an evacuation via the Rapid Admin app (Android):
Open and sign in to the Rapid Admin app:
Select your package.
Under the purple “Rapid Access” banner, press the right-pointing arrow to drop down the Rapid Access menu:
Select “New Evacuation”:
Choose the site you wish to trigger the evacuation at:
Select the “EVACUATE” button at the top right of your screen to trigger the evacuation:
Press “OK” to confirm you wish to proceed with the evacuation:
You will then be redirected to the evacuation status page:
Monitoring the evacuation status:
When an individual onsite responds to the automated message with “Safe”, a green “Safe” textbox will automatically appear above their name on the app:
Once all individuals onsite have responded with “Safe”, a green “Completed” textbox will appear at the top left of your screen:
