Connecting a Surface Pro or Dell computer to the internet
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Ensure you have a keyboard connected to the device. Alternatively, if you are using a Surface Pro, ensure the device is out of its case.
Connecting the device to the internet:
- On the keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + DEL.
Alternatively, on a Surface Pro, press and release the Power and Volume down buttons:

- A blue or black screen will appear. Click the globe icon in the bottom right, on the left-hand side of the three icons:

- This will produce a list of available networks. Choose the network you wish to connect to by selecting its name and clicking "Connect":
Please note: You may be required to enter the network password.

- Once you have connected, the network will automatically appear at the top with "Connected, secured" displayed just under the network name.
