Ensure the computer and printer are powered on.
Ensure the computer is connected to a network.
Ensure you have a keyboard connected to the device. Alternatively, if you are using a Surface Pro, ensure the device is out of its case.
Ensure you have a USB Type A to Type B cable to connect the printer to your computer
Ensure the Editor Lite on the printer is off:
Ensure you have the password for the computer’s “Admin” account.
Please note: If you do not have the Admin password, reach out to our support line on 1800 307 595.
On the keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + DEL.
Alternatively, on a Surface Pro, press and release the Power and Volume down buttons:
A blue or black screen will appear. Select the “Switch User” option:
Choose the “Admin” account.
Enter the password and press “Enter”:
On your keyboard, press the Windows button. Alternatively, select the Windows icon from the taskbar.
Search “Control Panel” and open the application:
Under the “Hardware and Sound” section, select the “View devices and printers” option:
Select the top option “Devices and Printers”:
Scroll down to the “Printers” section. Your printer should appear in this section under “Brother QL-700”:
Please note: If your printer does not appear, try unplugging the chord connected to the computer from the printer and plugging it back in.
