What is the difference between an audit and an action
An audit is a process where a business checks how well it is following safety rules and regulations. It involves creating either "once-off" or "repetitive" audits. “Audits” usually have an attached "Audit Form" which is a set of questions based on the particular safety checks being undertaken.
If there are any identified issues or shortcomings identified when conducting the “audit”, an “action” can be raised. "Actions" will detail the issue and what needs to be done, by whom, and by when. Photos or other files can be attached to the action.
