What is the difference between a master audit and a sub-audit
The Audit dashboard will display the main audits in the various statuses based on the timeframe selected in the filter options.
The master audit is where you attach the Audit Form template associated with a “Once-off” or “Repetitive” scheduled audit, as well as any other documentation and comments that apply.
A master audit contains the main setup details about an audit which includes information such as:
Audit Name
Reference Number
Description
Category
Location
Responsible Person
Automatic Close
Start Date and End Date
Repeat Frequency
Reminders
Audit Form Template
Other Settings
The sub-audit is the actionable part of the audit process. The sub-audit will contain setup information from the master audit, including the scheduled due date, responsible person, status as well as a copy of the audit form template.
To start the auditing process for a particular sub-audit, select the green “View/Edit” button. The “Edit Scheduled Audit” section will appear. To open the attached audit form, select the green “Audit” button.
