How to close an audit

How to close an audit

Audits in the green “Completed” status should be reviewed by the responsible admin and can be closed manually, or they will be closed automatically after the specified number of days if “Automatic Close” has been set up in the “master audit”. Once reviewed audits can be “Closed” or “Rejected”.

The “Responsible Admin” will receive a notification if they are set up to “Receive All Emails”. Otherwise, they can click on the “Completed status circle” to view all the completed audits for the selected Timeframe.

To close an audit, please follow the instructions outlined below.

How to close an audit

  1. Select the “Audits” tab to navigate to the Audits dashboard.

  2. The dashboard will display your audits based on the default “Timeframe”. Select a different Timeframe if required.

  3. To quickly search for the “Completed” audits, click on the “Completed status circle”. This will show an “expanded view” of the sub-audits in the “Completed” status. (Note: there is no filter option to search for “Completed” status audits).

  4. Click on the green “View/Edit” button of the sub-audit you wish to review and close.

  5. To view the completed audit form, click on “View/Export” in the sub-audit window.

  6. In the “View Completed Audit” window, there are also options to “Export to Excel” and to view a “PDF version” of the audit report.

  7. If the audit is satisfactory, and “Automatic Close” has been set up in the “master audit” no further action is required as the audit will close automatically after the specified number of days.

  8. If “Automatic Close” is not active, the audit can be closed manually by clicking the “Close” button in the sub-audit window. Enter any closing comments and click “Confirm” to save.
