How to make Actions mandatory for non-compliant answers
Questions within an Audit Form template can be configured so the user can add an action if the answer is “non-compliant”. “Actions” can be set as “optional” or “mandatory”. When a mandatory action is required the audit form will not be able to be submitted until an action has been raised. Note: The option to create actions is only available for the “Form Field” > “Multiple Choice”, “Checkboxes” and “Text Box ” options.
To set up Actions in an audit form template, please follow the instructions outlined below.
In the audit form template, select either “Add New Field”, or “Edit” to open an existing question.
Ensure the question type is "Form Field" and set to "Multiple Choice”, "Checkboxes” or "Text Box".
For “Multiple Choice” or “Checkboxes”, select the answer type as “Only Selected Option”.
The “radio button/checkbox” next to the “Compliant” answer must be selected. This indicates the correct response.
To make an action “optional” or “non-mandatory”, select “Using Action” to ON.
To make the action “mandatory”, select “Required Action” to ON.
Click the “Save” button.
Important: For information on form field types, please see the “Understanding each form field within Form Builder” and “Understanding each "Form Field" answer option in an audit form template” articles.
