How to Create an Action for an Asset/Item

Audits, tasks and actions for an asset/item can be created from the “Item” section. The benefit is all audits, tasks and actions are attached to the particular asset/item.

To set up a action for an asset/item, please follow the instructions outlined below.

Create an action for an asset/item

  1. Select the “Items” tab to navigate to the Items dashboard.

  2. Search for the required item using the filter options, and select “Edit”.

  3. In the “Edit Asset/Item” window, click the “Actions” button

  4. On the “Actions List” blue header, click the “+ Add New Action” button.

  5. In the "Add New Action" window, the Category, Location and Asset fields will be pre-filled.

  6. Enter the relevant details for the remaining fields.

  7. Click “Add New” to save the action.

The action can be viewed via the asset/item or from the Actions dashboard.
