How to edit an asset / item

Information and details for assets or items can be easily updated or changed by administrators with the appropriate level of role permissions.

Editing assets / items

  1. Select the “Items” heading tab to navigate to the items dashboard:

  2. Using the filter options, search for the particular asset / item, then click on the grey button labelled “Edit”.

  3. In the “Edit Asset/Item” window the various fields can be changed or updated:

    • Asset/Item

    • IDAsset/Item

    • Name

    • Category & Subcategory

    • Location

    • Attach Documents / Files (Optional)

    • Comments (Optional)

    • Asset/Item Information (Optional)

  4. To save the changes, click the green “Update” button.
