You can add tasks, audits, and actions to an item, as well as files, photos and procedures or policies that are stored within your file manager.
Each item has its own unique QR code which you can print and attach to the physical item. This
allows you to scan the QR code using the Rapid App, and complete an Audit, Task or Action on it.
Adding assets / items
- Select the “Items” heading tab to navigate to the items dashboard:
- Click on the green button at the top right of the screen labelled “Add New Asset/Item” > a pop-up box will appear with options for creating a new asset/item:
- Enter Asset/Item Details:
- Asset/Item ID: Enter the unique identifier for the asset/item.
- Asset/Item Name: Provide a descriptive name for the item. Be sure to include the asset number in the name, as item searches during task creation can only be done by item name, not by item number.

- Use the free text fields to add comments or detailed information about the asset/item. This section is not mandatory
