How to close / cancel a work order as an administrator
If a contractor forgets to close their work order after completing the required works, an administrator can close or cancel it on their behalf from the Administrator Portal.
- Go to the Permit module.
- Open the Work Orders tab.
- Use the filters on the left-hand side to locate the relevant work order.
- Expand the work order using the arrow on the left-hand side.
Select the Pencil icon next to the most recent submission:
If there are no entries, select the Pencil icon for the entire work order instead.

- Choose Cancel or Close Work Order to update the work order’s status:

Please note: A work order with no previous submissions can only be cancelled, not closed.
