How to close an incident

Once all corrective actions have been completed and closed. The incident will progress to the final status of “Awaiting to be closed”. The final stage is to close the incident. This is an opportunity to review the actions that have been completed or to re-open the investigation if required.

Once the actions have been reviewed, the incident can be closed out as follows:
  1. In the “Incidents” page, locate the incident requiring closure.

  1. Click on the “menu dots” to the right of the incident to be closed.

  1. Click on the “Close” option.

  1. Select “Yes” to confirm the closure of the incident and send notifications to the distribution list.

  1. The incident status will now show as “Closed.”
