How to set up incident notifications by incident type

How to set up incident notifications by incident type

For an administrator to receive notifications, they must be first be enabled under “Settings.” Notifications can be set up by incident type, by risk level, or a combination of both. Once the notification type settings are activated, the administrator will automatically appear on the distribution list.

To set up incident notifications by incident category or incident type:

  1. Click on the “Settings” page.

  1. Select “Users.”

  1. Search for the admin using the filter options.

  1. Click on the “menu dots” and select the “Edit user profile” option.

  1. Select the “Notifications” option in the editing section.

  1. To receive notifications by incident category – tick the relevant “Incident category” boxes. This will enable notifications for all incident types within that category.

  1. To receive notifications by incident types – tick the relevant “Incident types” boxes.

  1. The changes will be automatically saved.
