How to add progress notes to a corrective action

If you have been assigned a Corrective Action, you may need to add progress notes, update information, add comments or upload files before you close out the Action.

  1. Click on the “Corrective Actions” tab to navigate to the Corrective Actions page.

  2. Search for the corrective actions associated with a particular incident by using the “Filters” on the left hand side.

    1. Type the incident number in the “Keywords” filter to view actions for a specific incident.

    2. Select the “Show all assigned to me” checkbox, to view all corrective actions allocated to you.

  3. Click on the corrective actions “description” to view the Corrective Actions Details window.

  4. In the Corrective Actions Details window, select the “+ Add progress note” button.

  5. Enter the information in the “Progress note details” field, upload relevant files and photos in the “Supporting documents” section, and click “Save”.

    • Note: supporting documents can be added via browse file, click and drag, or scan the QR code to upload from a phone.

  6. Alternatively, click on the “menu dots” to the right of the corrective action, and select “+ Add progress note” button from the menu options.

Hint: to quickly navigate to the corrective actions for a particular incident, click the “Corrective Actions” option from the “menu dots” link in the “Incidents” page.
