Audits, tasks and actions for an asset/item can be created from the “Item” section. The benefit is all audits, tasks and actions are attached to the particular asset/item.
“Tasks“ attached to an “asset/item” can be set up as “once-off” or “repetitive” tasks.
To set up a task for an asset/item, please follow the instructions outlined below.
Schedule a Task for an asset/item
Select the “Items” tab to navigate to the Items dashboard.
Search for the required item using the filter options, and select “Edit”.
In the “Edit Asset/Item” window, click the “Tasks” button
On the “Tasks List” green header, click the “+ Add New Task” button.
In the "Add New Task" window, the asset/item will be pre-selected and the Category and Location are “attached” to the selected asset/item . (Note: The asset filters are only if you wish to search for additional assets).
Under the "Additional Information" section, update the settings as required.
If a “repetitive” task is required, click the “Repeat” button and set the “Recurrence” schedule.
“Attach” an “Audit Form” if applicable.
To save the “task”, click “Add New”.
The task can be viewed via the asset/item or from the Tasks dashboard.
