Learn how to display your Rapid ID (QR code) for site access.
Important: Your Rapid ID requires an internet connection. It cannot be generated offline.
Your Rapid ID is a secure QR code that:
- Identifies you at work site terminals
- Is valid for 1 minute before needing to refresh
- Is cryptographically signed and cannot be copied or shared
- Replaces the need for facial recognition hardware
Step 1: Open Rapid Worker
Make sure you have an internet connection (WiFi or mobile data).
Step 2: Tap "Present Rapid ID"
From the Dashboard or Check-In screen, tap the Present Rapid ID button.
Step 3: Wait for QR Code to Load
Your QR code will appear with:
- Your name
- Your contact information
- A timer showing validity
Step 4: Scan at Site Terminal
Hold your phone up to the site entry terminal scanner. The terminal will:
1. Read your QR code
2. Verify your identity
3. Check your compliance status
4. Grant or deny access
Step 5: Refresh if Expired
If the timer runs out, tap Refresh to generate a new QR code.
