How to delete induction keys

Induction keys can be deleted if they are under a “Not Used” status.

This means the key has not been linked to a MyRapid account, courses have not been completed and no documents have been uploaded.

Please follow the below instructions to delete keys.

Deleting induction keys

  1. Select "Induct" from the below options:
  1. Locate the trainee you wish to delete by searching in the “Trainee Details” search field or select the “Not Used” status circle to filter the trainees who are available to delete:
  2. Select the “Bin” icon on the right of the trainee’s profile:
  3. You will be asked to confirm you wish to proceed > once “Ok” has been selected, the record will be deleted:

Once the induction key has been deleted, the record of the key will not be retrievable, therefore, the deletion is permanent.

If the “Bin” icon is not available against the trainee and the “Deactivate” option is only available, this means the trainee has used the induction key and therefore, it cannot be deleted. In this scenario, we recommend deactivating the trainee.
