How to acknowledge a Toolbox Talk

Learn how to read and acknowledge safety communications.


What is a Toolbox Talk?

A Toolbox Talk is a safety briefing or announcement from your employer. You're required to read it and confirm that you understand the content.

Steps

Step 1: Receive Notification

When a new Toolbox Talk is assigned, you'll receive a push notification.

Step 2: Open the Toolbox Talk

Tap the notification, or find it on your Dashboard under pending notifications.

Step 3: Read the Content

Read through the entire Toolbox Talk. This may include:
- Safety procedures
- Policy updates
- Incident alerts
- Training reminders

Some may include attachments - tap to view them.

Step 4: Acknowledge

At the bottom, tap the Acknowledge button. This confirms you've read and understood the content.

Step 5: Confirmation

Your acknowledgement is recorded with a timestamp. The Toolbox Talk moves from pending to completed.
