What are Conditions within Custom Form?
The Conditions button within the Custom Form creation popup relates to conditional formatting in the platform. Conditional formatting in the Rapid Access Form Builder allows you to apply rules to form questions, controlling when certain questions appear based on a user’s responses.
There are seven trigger options for conditions in the Form Builder:
- Is Equals To - Activates when the user's reply exactly matches a preset answer. This is mostly used for multiple-choice questions.
- Is Not Equals To - Triggers when the user's reply does not match a preset answer. Commonly used with multiple choice questions.
- Is Greater Than - Triggers if the user's numeric response exceeds a preset number.
- Is Less Than - Activates when the user's numeric answer is less than a preset number.
- Is Empty - Triggers when a user does not provide a response. Typically used for text-based answers.
- Is Filled - Activates when a user provides a response. Best used for text-based answers.
- Contains - Triggers when a user's response includes a specified keyword. Commonly used for text-based answers.
