Inner Range Integriti is an enterprise level integrated access control, intruder detection, and building automation solution.
Aware's integration with Inner Range Integriti enables the unlocking of doors, boom gates or turnstiles using facial recognition. Unlike other forms of identity recognition, facial recognition verifies if a person is actually present and whether they have access. This streamlines access, increases security and can eliminate the need for key cards.
To get the best out of your Inner Range Integriti device, there are several components that need to be properly configured. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to get your Integriti setup with Android Doorkeeper (ADK).
- Getting Started
- Configure the integration on an Android Doorkeeper
- Configure anti passback
- Additional Configurations
- Reviewing Access Control logs
Getting Started
To get started you need to collect the IP address and port of your Integriti Controller (from your IT team or Security Integrator).
- On Android Doorkeeper, tap on the ⚙️ icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Go to Access Control and tap on Add Integriti Reader. You will be prompted to enter an Address.
- In the textbox to enter the Address, enter the IP address and port number in the following format 10.0.00.001:1234. Tap on the Add button to confirm the entered IP Address and Port Number.
- Once paired, the ADK will display some configuration options for the controller:
- Check In/Check Out - you can set the ADK to trigger access control based on activity (Check In or Check Out)
- Profile - This determines the group of people that can trigger Access Control through ADK.
- Door Name - This determines which door the controller sends the trigger to.
- Choose which activity on ADK will trigger access control (Check In or Check Out)
- Tap on Any Profile to bring up a list of Labels that are configured in your Aware account. Select a Label (group of people) that are authorized to trigger Access Control on ADK.
7. Tap on Door Name to open up a list of doors connected to the controller. The list of doors named are pulled from the controller config itself.
8. Select the door you would like for ADK to trigger access control for based on the Activity selected. Tap on the X to go back to the config screen.
Anti-passback
Anti pass-back will prevent someone triggering access control for other people. A person will need to wait a set amount of time before they are able to check in/out again and trigger access control.
- Tap on General and turn on the toggle for Anti Passback.
You will also need to set a Minimum Check-In/Check-Out Duration:
- Only set a Minimum Check-In Duration if Access Mode is set to In only.
- Only set a Minimum Check-out Duration if Access Mode is set to Out only.
Additional Configurations
In addition to using facial recognition for access control, you can also configure other checks on top of facial recognition to verify users who look alike using the Phone Validation feature.
Reviewing Access Control Logs
Once you have connected Integriti to one or more of Rapid Global's Products, you will be able to see when Access Control was triggered in the Web App.
In Aware
In either the Check-In or Events page you will be able to see activity from the devices connected to Aware (IP cameras or Doorkeepers). When Access Control is activated it will be displayed under the Access Control column as Triggered. When a person is Stopped and Access Control is not triggered, the status will be missing.
