How to set up Conditional Formatting in an Audit Form

What is conditional formatting?

Conditional formatting is a function in the Form Builder section of Rapid Auditor that enables users to set conditions for different parts of the form. These conditions can control the visibility of questions based on the answers provided by a user.

Trigger Options for Conditions:

There are four trigger options for conditions in the form builder:

  • Is Equals To - Activates when the user's reply exactly matches a preset answer. This is mostly used for multiple-choice questions.

  • Is Not Equals To - Triggers when the user's reply does not match a preset answer. Commonly used with multiple choice questions.

  • Is Empty - Triggers when a user does not provide a response. Typically used for text-based answers.

  • Is Filled - Activates when a user provides a response. Best used for text-based answers.

Result Options for Conditions:

There are two result actions for conditions in the form builder:

  • Then Show - Select the fields you want to show as a result of the trigger response.

  • Then Hide - Select the fields you want to hide as a result of the trigger response.

To set up conditional formatting in Form Builder, please follow these steps:

How to add a condition:

  1. In the audit form template, click on the "Conditions" button at the top.
