As you make progress with your Nirovision deployment, you may need to:
Swap your iPad for a newer model or replace an iPad that has stopped working.
Move your iPad from one location to another.
Doorkeepers are paired against accounts in order to post activity. So all of these circumstances require a two-step process:
You first need to delete the existing Doorkeeper from your account.
Then,
you'll need to pair the new Doorkeeper if you're replacing it.
or pair this existing Doorkeeper to a new account if you're moving it.
In the Doorkeeper app on your iPad, tap anywhere on the screen to reveal Settings on the bottom left corner of the screen, tap on it.
In settings, tap on Advanced.
In Advanced, tap on 🗑 Delete Doorkeeper.
You will get a prompt to confirm this action and a warning stating "Once you delete this doorkeeper you will need to set it up as new.". To confirm, tap on the red button that reads "Yes, Delete This Doorkeeper".
Once Doorkeeper has been deleted, you will be directed back to the login screen.
By deleting this Doorkeeper from an account you will no longer see the detailed view of check-in activities related to the Doorkeeper or the Doorkeeper itself from the Nirovision Apps.
❗ If you are using Doorkeeper to keep a record of time and attendance, we recommend exporting this data before deleting Doorkeeper.
If you are replacing your iPad with a new one, you will need to download the Doorkeeper App on the new iPad and pair it to an existing account you have with Nirovision. Once the Doorkeeper App has been downloaded, start the app and have the Nirovision Web app ready.
In the Nirovision Web App go to the top right corner of the screen, click on your user.
Click on Devices in the menu.
In the Devices page, on the top right corner click on "Activate Doorkeeper" to bring up the activate Doorkeeper screen.
(If you have multiple locations) Select the location you'd like to pair Doorkeeper to.
Enter the activation code shown on the Doorkeeper app into the prompt on the Web app.
Give the Doorkeeper a name.
Click "Continue" to complete Activating Doorkeeper.
In the Nirovision Web App go to the top right corner of the screen, click on your user.
Click on Devices in the menu.
In the Devices page, on the top right corner click on "Activate Doorkeeper" to bring up the activate Doorkeeper screen.
(If you have multiple locations) Select the new location you'd like to pair Doorkeeper to.
Enter the activation code shown on the Doorkeeper app into the prompt on the Web app.
Give the Doorkeeper a name.
Click "Continue" to complete Activating Doorkeeper.
