Download and Activate a Doorkeeper kiosk

Before you're ready to sign in and out via your iPad kiosk, you need to install the Doorkeeper application and link the device to your account.

Grab your iPad, and download the Doorkeeper app

  1. Head over to the App Store and download the Doorkeeper application to your iPad. Open it when ready.

  2. Ensure you have enabled all permissions, so your iPad operates as expected. 

  3. Once you are finished with the permissions, you will be presented with an eight-digit activation code.

Pair the iPad to your Rapid Aware account

  1. On your desktop computer, log in to your Rapid Global account using your Admin User email and password. Navigate to Rapid Access.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Devices.

    1. Click on the Activate Doorkeeper button on the top-right corner of your screen.

    2. (if you have more than one Site/Location) Select the Location where you'd like to pair your device.

    3. Type in the eight-digit activation code the application on the iPad shows you.

    4. Give the device a name (e.g. Lobby, Reception, Front Desk). Click Continue to confirm. If the activation was successful, a Success message will appear, and your iPad will show the Doorkeeper standby screen.
