Auditing is a process where a business checks how well it is following safety rules and regulations.
The Auditor system allows you to create “Once-off” or “Repetitive” audits. These audits can be assigned to a particular person, called a "Responsible Person". Audits will have a "Due Date" to ensure they are conducted in a timely manner and won’t be missed. Audits usually have an attached "Audit Form" which is a set of questions based on the particular safety checks being undertaken. There may also be "Actions" arising from the "Audit", to rectify any identified issues or shortcomings.
The main goals of auditing are to:
Identify risks: Find any potential hazards that could cause harm.
Evaluate safety procedures: See if the current safety measures are effective.
Ensure compliance: Make sure the business is following all legal safety requirements.
Improve safety: Suggest ways to make the workplace safer for everyone.
