🪪 Prepare your data

Create Metadata fields

Data fields only need to be created once, and they become available to every profile.

On the Web App 🖥️

  1. On the Web App 🖥️, go to the top right corner, click on your profile > Settings > Company > Person profile > Metadata.
  2. Click on the Add metadata field button.
  3. Enter the name of the field and choose a type. Once selected, field types cannot be changes. The options for field types are:
    1. Text
    2. Number
    3. Boolean (Yes/No)
    4. Phone
    5. Date
    6. Time
  4. Click Create once all the fields have been filled in.
💡 Custom fields can be filled in manually, or programmatically synced from third-party systems through integration. If any of these fields are deleted, they will be removed from all profiles.

On the Mobile App📱

  1. On the Mobile App📱, go to settings located on the bottom right corner of the navigation bar.
  2. Navigate to Identity template.
  3. Tap on Add field.
  4. Enter the name of the field and choose a type. Once selected, field types cannot be changed. The options for field types are:
    1. Text
    2. Number
    3. Boolean (Yes/No)
    4. Phone
    5. Date
    6. Time
  5. Tap save to create your metadata field.
