How to trigger an evacuation via the Rapid Admin app (iOS)

Before you start:

  • Ensure you have administrator permissions to view and edit evacuation lists within Rapid Access.
  • Ensure you have the latest version of the Rapid Admin app installed on your iOS device.

Triggering an evacuation via the Rapid Admin app (iOS):

  1. Open and sign in to the Rapid Admin app:


  1. Select your package.
  2. Under the purple “Rapid Access” banner, press the right-pointing arrow to drop down the Rapid Access menu:


  1. Select “New Evacuation”:


  1. Choose the site you wish to trigger the evacuation at:


  1. Select the “Send Notification” button at the bottom of your screen to trigger the evacuation:


  1. Press “OK” to confirm you wish to proceed with the evacuation:


  1. You will then be redirected to the evacuation status page:


Monitoring the evacuation status:

  • When an individual onsite responds to the automated message with “Safe”, a green “Safe” textbox will automatically appear above their name on the app:


  • Once all individuals onsite have responded with “Safe”, a green “Completed” textbox will appear at the top right of your screen:
