How to search for an asset / item
- Click on the "Items" tab to open the Asset / Items Dashboard:
- On the Asset/ Items Dashboard, you'll see filters on the left-hand side.
- Item Name: Search for a specific item by name.
- Category: Filter items by categories like electronics or office supplies.
- Location: Choose items based on their locations such as warehouse A or office building.
- Status: Filter items based on their current status, such as active or inactive.
- If you’re looking for a specific item, type the name into the "Item Name" text box in the filters:
- Click the "Search" button:
- To see items within a specific category or location, use the drop-down menus next to "Category" and "Location.":
- Select the category or location from the options provided:
- By default, the system shows only active items. If you need to view inactive items, adjust the "Status" filter to "Inactive.":
- Inactive items could be out of service, archived, or temporarily not in use:
- After setting your filters (Item Name, Category, Location, and Status), click the "Search" button again to apply them:
