If an asset or items is no longer held, it can be easily deactivated. Active assets will appear on the Items dashboard in the green “Active” status.
Inactive assets can be searched by selecting “Inactive” in the Status filter option. These will appear in the red “Deactive” status.
Inactive assets or items will still retain all of the associated information, as well as audits, tasks and actions, which can be viewed by selecting “Edit”. This information will also be retained if the asset or item is reactivated.
How to deactivate assets / items
Select the “Items” heading tab to navigate to the items dashboard.
Using the filter options, search for the particular asset / item, then click on the grey button labelled “Deactivate”.
How to edit / view deactivated assets / items
Select the “Items” heading tab to navigate to the items dashboard.
Using the filter options, search for the particular asset / item, then click on the grey button labelled “Edit”.
Click the green “Update” button to save any changes.
How to reactivate assets / items
Select the “Items” heading tab to navigate to the items dashboard.
Using the filter options, search for the particular asset / item. Remember to select the “Inactive” option in the “Status” field.
To reactivate to asset, click on the grey button labelled “Activate”.
