Regardless of whether the ethernet relay will be used with Doorkeeper or a Aware server, the ethernet relay needs the network settings configured first. Ensure the ethernet relay is powered before continuing.
Connect the ethernet relay to your network and then use the IP address of 192.168.1.100 to access the settings.
Connect directly to the ethernet relay's access point over Wi-Fi.
On your device, open your Wi-Fi settings.
Search for a Wi-Fi network called dtrelaySN (eg. dtrelay16164).
The password for the Wi-Fi network is dtpassword.
Use the IP address of 192.168.7.1 to access the settings.
Log into the web interface for the ethernet relay by entering the IP address into your browser.
By default, both the username and the password on the login page are set to "admin".
Please ensure you keep a record of any changes made to your login credentials, as there is no recovery option available for lost credentials. We strongly advise creating a secure note or using a password manager to store this critical information safely.
Press Settings to edit the network settings of the ethernet relay.
ETH settings are used to configure the network settings when an ethernet cable is connected.
Set ETH DHCP to No in order to set a static IP address.
Set ETH IP to an unused IP address that falls within the same range as your currently connected network.
AP settings are used to connect directly to the ethernet relay when it is not connected to a network.
Set AP Enable to Yes in order to start configuring these settings.
The default Wi-Fi access point details are:
IP Address: 192.168.7.1
Wi-Fi SSID: dtrelaySN
Wi-Fi Password: dtpassword
Set HTTP Session to No.
When you have finished configuring the network settings, press Save to confirm changes.

We need to know the following information in order to be able to configure the server to work the ethernet relay:
The IP address of the ethernet relay.
The Relay Password. This is not the password used to log into the web interface. The Relay Password can be set on the web interface.
A list of cameras and which specific relay/channel the camera should connect to (Front Door camera should connect to Relay1).
The labels that will be used for the access control.
The length of time that the door needs to be opened for.
Please send this information to support@rapidglobal.com and we will configure this for you.
